Confusion and misconception have clouded the principles on which surgical treatment of complications of anorectal Crohn's disease is based. With this video we review the surgical treatment of common complications such as perineal abscesses, fistula-in-ano, rectovaginal fistula, anal stenosis, "watering-pot" perineum, and rectal disease. Special consideration is given to patients' quality of life and maintenance of anal continence.
