55 year old female who was seen in the general surgery clinic with complaints of persistent right upper quadrant pain for 4 months. She had a CT scan performed which demonstrated a metallic foreign body extruding from the pylorus into the peri-gastric fat near the duodenum. A upper endoscopy was performed in an attempt to retrieve the object, but endoscopy revealed no intra-luminal object. We planned preoperatively to use intra-operative fluoroscopy to help us localized the object. Using spot and dynamic fluoroscopy, we were able to retrieve what was a grill bristle brush wire laparoscopically. The patient was seen in follow up and has since has resolution of her pain.
