The DOR procedure has been advocated as a means of reducing the size of large ventricles due to ischemic cardiomyopathy. In addition to revascularization, an endoventricular patch is placed to reduce the size of the ventricle. The aim of the present procedure is to reduce the size of the ventricle 50% and improve the function.
