Large caliber, lower extremity deep veins (bilateral superficial femoral-popliteal veins) are used to create an autogenous aorto iliac/femoral system following removal of an infected Aortobifemoral prosthesis. This unique approach provides an infection-resistent in situ reconstruction that is durable and has excellent long-term patency.
