We utilize a clamp and sew technique, with specific adjuncts directed towards the principle complications, for thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair. Our technique for regional spinal cord hypothermia via epidural cooling has been an integral component of this approach, and has resulted in very low risk of cord ischemic complications.
