This video illustrates the successful resection of an intralobar sequestration using Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS) as the operative approach. This is a 32 y/o male diagnosed with pneumonia. Persistence of the radiologic abnormality led to a CAT scan, which was diagnostic of a sequestration. An MRI/MRA confirmed the diagnosis. VATS was used to successfully resect the affected lobe. The operative technique is demonstrated.
