The endoscopic video technique was first reported at the 1985 ACS Congress. Endoscopic video magnifies the surgical field to document cervical tissue bands and execute a transaxillary first rib resection more safely. This video demonstrates the technical aspects of the surgical procedure, and presents data from ten years experience. Neurovascular complications were not seen.
