Surgical treatment of subglottic laryngeal and upper tracheal postintubation stenosis presents significant technical difficulties related to the impossibility of performing a circumferential resection of cricoid cartilage to preserve recurrent laryngeal nerves. This videotape shows the operative repair of a stenosis of the subglottic larynx and upper trachea, illustrating the surgical and anesthesiological technique, and reports long-term results.
