Postoperative recurrence of esophageal cancer at the cervico-mediastinal node is frequent. It is a blind spot even if radical lymphadenectomy is performed either from the mediastinal or cervical route. This video shows the operative method ofintrathoracic esophagectomy and lymphadenectomy including dissection of the supramediastinal node with minimum surgical invasion.
