This video shows the treatment of a very unusual condition, where the aortic root of an infant was destroyed by endocarditis secondary to ECMO cannulation. The aortic root, along with the aortic valve and ascending aorta, are excised and replaced with an aortic homograft. The coronary arteries are reattached to the aortic homograft. The technique to accomplish this is well visualized.
