Though the debate continues whether to perform routine or selective cholangiography during laparoscopic cholecystectomy, when performed, the cholangiogram must be of good quality in order to allow complete and accurate interpretation. In this regard intraoperative cholangiography (IOC) is very much an operator dependent procedure. The objective of this video is to demonstrate a systematic approach to the performance of IOC during LC, as well as to present a checklist to organize the operator's interpretation of this important study.
