Polycystic live disease often accompanies polycystic kidney disease. The cysts rarely compromise liver function and require treatment only if symptomatic. Pain and/or gastrointestinal obstruction are the most common symptoms. This videotape demonstrates the laparoscopic fenestration of multiple large hepatic cysts in a patient with symptomatic polycystic liver disease.
