Transcystic duct techniques of stone removal and choledochoscopy (TCDCBDE) are applicable in almost 90% of patients with common duct calculi. Laparoscopic cholecystectomy and TCDCBDE has a morbidity of 6 - 10% and mortality of 1% with an average hospital stay of 3.6 days. This video describes the technical as-pects of our standard approach for laparoscopic cholecystectomy and TCDCBDE with choledochoscopy.
