The purpose of this presentation is to outline the technique of resection of a choledochal cyst, emphasizing the potential risks and the steps required to prevent complications. The case presented is that of a 4 year old female with an 18x14 cm choledochal cyst. A technique of intramural excision of the cyst is shown.
