This video depicts a college student with a huge hepatic sarcoma. He was treated with chemotherapy, followed by resection. The patient's preoperative appearance, work-up and intraoperative management are shown. Postoperative views document an excellent outcome. He remains free of recurrence as of 1993. Many posed views are shown, illustrating technical points of interest to practicing surgeons.
