Presented is a technique in laparoscopic laser cholecystectomy, which has been successfully performed in more than 200 patients with minimal morbidity and no mortality. The technique allows for total removal of both the gallbladder and stones along with an evaluation of the common duct using cholangiography. The technique avoids the morbidity of an open surgical procedure.
