A segmentectomy of the liver was exhibited as the preferable operation to hepatocellular carcinoma with cirrhosis, which might be fatal in major resections and in high rate of recurrences in subsegmentectomy. This video shows the operation of anterior segmentectomy, which is safe and effective from the points of intraoperative procedure and long-term prognosis.
