This video shows an extended central hepatic bisegmentectomy, that is, resection of the medial, anterior, and posterior superior segment of the liver, with total caudate lobectomy, for advanced bile duct carcinoma at the hepatic bifurcation, after diagnosing the extent of cancer into each segmental duct by percutaneous transhepatic cholangioscopy.
