Belsey-Mark IV fundoplication has been comparably effective to the Nissen fundoplication with a lower incidence of postoperative gastrointestinal complications. Using a thoracoscopic approach, we successfully accomplished the Belsey-Mark IV partial fundoplication. Intraluminal endoscopy was performed simultaneously to identify the gastroesophageal junction and to aid in the mobilization of the distal esophagus.
