Target Audience

Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician associates, nurses, audiologists and therapists who care for pediatric patients in a variety of settings, including otolaryngology, primary care, and acute care.


Learning Objectives

  • Discuss benefits of prescribed web-based education for the caregivers of children with tympanostomy tubes
  • Describe current recommendations for children with persistent obstructive sleep apnea following adenotonsillectomy
  • State five key aspects in the interpretation of an audiogram
  • Identify clinical information from the case studies presented that will be integrated into clinical practice
  • Discuss improved clinical outcomes with hypoglossal nerve stimulation in children with Trisomy 21
  • Compare and contract differential considerations for children with dysphagia through the age groups
