Morgagni hernia is a rare anatomic abnormality of the abdominal wall. We present a case of accidental discovery and repair of the Morgagni hernia during surgical procedure of the recurrent paraesophageal hernia. Presence of the Morgagni hernia was not recognized during initial operation at another institution.
