A 39 year old female with intermittent epigastric pain underwent ultrasound and CT scan examination, which suggested the presence of a choledochal cyst. This was confirmed at laparoscopy. Cholecystectomy, cyst resection and laparoscopic hand-sewn choledochojejunostomy was performed. She had an uneventful postoperative course, and was discharged home on the seventh postoperative day. This is the first case report of a completely laparoscopic resection of a choledochal cyst.
