	Discuss and review predictors of outcomes for cardiac patients both with and without surgery
	Present and evaluate currently-accepted criteria for surgical and non-surgical intervention
	Present and evaluate currently approved criteria for use of percutaneously inserted prostheses and/or valve repair techniques
	Discuss evolving concepts of pharmacological therapy in patients with valvular disease
	Discuss and review current standards for echocardiographic evaluation of valvular diseases, including technical problems and their solutions
