Accreditation
The Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (A.C.C.M.E.) to sponsor Continuing Medical Education for physicians. SAGES designates each Grand Rounds issue for 2 hours of Category 1 Continuing Medical Education credit toward the Physicians Recognition Award for the American Medical Association. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spend in the educational activity by entering the appropriate value in the field provided on the Evaluation From.
Method of Participation
Participants may participate in this educational activity by viewing the DVD, evaluating the course on the evaluation form, and asking questions of the faculty via the SAGES website. Sages Grand Rounds is presented by the SAGES Continuing Education Committee, L. Michael Brunt, MD, Chair and SAGES Grand Rounds Project Director.
