A 12-year-old male presented with abdominal pain, vomiting, and early satiety. Exploration revealed an accessory liver lobe with torsion that required laparoscopic partial hepatectomy. We describe the presentation, work-up, and surgical care for a rare case of torsion of an accessory liver lobe that was initially thought to be a gastric tumor. We go through the imaging findings, the operation, as well as the postoperative course and provide more information on this rare congenital anomaly.
